- Creature found in Mzulft Storeroom during Much Ado About Snow Elves
- Giant Spider is an obstacle in Death Mode in Stage 17 and possibly Stage 29.
- The Giant Spider is an Easter Egg boss in Zetsubou No Shima.
- A Giant Spider appears in the opening of "What Scared Sue Ellen?" as one of the common fears that Arthur lists. After Arthur fell from the tall building into a chasm, the spider caught him mid-air and lifted him to safety. He screamed and ran away from the spider, but it simply scratched its head in puzzlement.
- Giant spiders are monsters in ADOM. Like all spiders, they are able to spin webs and have a poisonous melee attack. They can also be summoned en masse by dark elven spellcasting monsters. Their poisonous attacks can be dangerous to early game PCs; and since many of them are generated by summoners and thus killed in large numbers throughout the game, swarms of high level giant spiders (and their webs) can be a nuisance in the late game.
- Giant Spiders are the large form of spiders. They can be found between Lumbridge and the Al-Kharid gate, in Edgeville dungeon, and inside Strange Barrels.
- Giant Spiders are creatures that appear in The Elder Scrolls Online. They are a larger, hostile version of Spiders that appear as peaceful creatures in a number of locations.
- Giant Spider - Garrett had to face him in Banshee Woods in order to get his Mystic Knight armor.
- The first were the Web Spinners, born in the Arklay Research Facility (in Resident Evil). These spiders lost their ability to spin webs due to their increase in size. However, they still retain their ability to crawl over walls and ceilings, and will leave behind a swarm of Baby Spiders when killed. The Black Tiger is a type of Web Spinner that has undergone further mutation. It is twice the size of a regular Web Spinner, and has the ability to spin webs.
- Giant spiders lived during the middle-earth.
* In the insect pit, Kenny is under something, and he looks up, a giant spider readys its' fangs, but Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody) gets a machatee and chops its' legs and Kenny says I don't like being bitten.
- The Giant spider is the boss of Wesrin Cross ,and the first "boss" of the Halls of the Lost.

- Giant Spider is a character in the Super Mario series. He first appeared in Donkey Kong 64. He is also called Spider. He is a giant, one-eyed spider that is a mini-boss in Donkey Kong 64. He is fought by Tiny Kong. He attacks by sending smaller spiders at her.
- The first mini-boss of Lunia, the Giant Spider uses all ranged attacks. It is slow moving and extremely predictable.
- Giant spiders typically appear in small numbers, but have been known to gather into larger groups for ambushes. Their primary ability allows them to throw their webbing, causing the victim to become encased and immobilized unless they pass a resistance check. Spiders can also use the Overwhelm ability, wherewith the spider tackles its victim, repeatedly inflicting physical damage and stunning the target for the remainder of the attack.

- The Giant Spiders were gigantic spiders that invaded Earth in 1975 when a meteorite crashed in rual Wisconsin and opened an interdimensional gateway. Many spiders of varying sizes were spawned, the largest of which could swallow a man whole.(The Giant Spider Invasion) With the presence of an interdimensional gateway, it is unclear whether the spiders were created from normal spiders or whether they were actual aliens. But an interdimensional gateway may mean they have some connection with the Eight Legs of Metebelis III(Doctor Who).
- The Giant Spider is a large insect that hides in a Cimmerian Forest, it is only seen in the episode "Fire Heart".
- Giant spiders are large arachnid predators who live in remote locations brimming with magic which they are drawn to. They possess limited intelligence and can be intimidated although they are dangerous when they're hungry as they can ensnare their prey in webs.
- Giant Spiders have four varieties: Arach, Poison Spinner, Flame Spider, and Spider Magus. Poison Spinners have a chance to deal Poison damage. Flame Spiders have a chance to deal Fire damage. Spider Magi have a chance to deal Poison damage. On Hell difficulty, Arachs, Flame Spiders, and Spider Magi are immune to Fire while Poison Spinners are immune to Poison. A superunique Giant Spider is Sszark the Burning.
- 'The Giant Spider is a giant blue one-eyed spider mini-boss found in the nighttime in Fungi Forest and is fought by Tiny. This mini-boss only attacks by summoning smaller spiders. These spiders can reverse the game's controls or freeze Tiny. The Giant Spider can be damaged by Tiny shooting an arrow from her Feather Bow into the Giant Spider's eye. When hit a few times, the Giant Spider shrinks into a regular spider. Tiny must jump on him a few more times to defeat the Giant Spider and obtain one of the Golden Bananas.
- The Giant Spider is a full-bodied character, a prehistoric arachnid who danced with, and menaced, Raquel Welch in episode 311 of The Muppet Show. Raquel defends herself: she hits the Spider with her bludgeon and moves her fists as if she challenges the monster for a fight. At last, the Spider, softened up, finishes the dance number in a friendly way.
- Giant Spiders are supernaturally large spiders that only seem to inhabit Poptropica.
- The Giant Spider is an animal available on FarmVille. It was originally released on September 10th, 2012 as common reward in Mystery Game 119.
- Giant spider colonies spread out in concentric circles from the matriarch's lair, which remains the heart and nerve center of their community. If anything opposes their outward expansion, the entire colony is mobilized against it. Many well-established giant spider colonies have formed symbiotic relationships with a humanoid race called the sarlid, who live among them and fight alongside them whenever something threatens their shared territory.
- The Giant Spider is the last enemy encountered within Wesrin Cross, and must be defeated in order to continue to Glitterdelve. Upon encountering the spider, the music crescendos and becomes dramatic.
- Giant Spiders are not common creatures, but their loathesomeness more than makes up for their rarity. They live deep within the darkest and most tangled of forests or in underground lairs. Giant Spiders have a rudimentary, devious intelligence and are able to communicate with each other, but the arachnid mind is not one that is easily intelligible to Humans, which is probably just as well. In combat, Giant Spiders attack with two venomous bites per round.
- The Giant Spider is the First boss in the Tower of Oz and serves as the boss for floor 10. It can at any time cast Damage Reflect, Summon Spiderling Cocoons, which hatch into Spiderlings that the Giant Spider will eat to restore HP. The Giant Spider is based on the spider in book the Wonderful Wizard of Oz in Chapter 21, where the spider eats everyone in the forest until the Cowardly Lion kills it.
- Giant Spiders are weak creatures found in various spots all over Soulsplit. However, they are known to reside in the Low level Slayer Dungeon. Common drops include Bones and a low amount of Coins. Giant spiders are rarely ever crowded due to their lack of HP and slow training rate (experience wise). Players tend to train their Combat skills at more efficient places such as lumbridge yaks, Relleka Rock crabs or Slayer dungeon experiments.
- There are races of sentient giant spiders living near the Glass Mountains, in a thorny forest. They are pony-sized. Yellow fangs hung down from their mouths and their bodies were covered in coarse black fur. They have eight great black hairy legs. A multitude of eyes sits on their heads. With their dozens of eyes, they watch. Their fangs click against their lower jaws.They eat juicy humanoids such as imps or humans. Smaller species but still large are known as big spiders. One known species is the giant spider of Llewdor.
- The giant spider is a monster which appears in a number of role-playing games and movies.
- Giant Spider is a type of entity that first manifests in Level 8: Mean Streets of Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime and resemble spiders.
- Giant spiders are invisible to all but recon units. They lay in wait in forested areas and attack units that draw to close to them. Sometimes wild giant spiders or captured ones will produce baby spiders after kills. These can grow to giant spiders after feeding. Giant spiders are poisonous and will poison units that defeat them in combat. To get rid of this effect have your units healed by a priest or if your unit starts the turn completely healed the poison will wear off.
- Giant Spiders are creatures with ten legs living on the Ruins planet. In 2009, Lt. Matthew Scott, Chloe Armstrong, Eli Wallace and MSgt. Ronald Greer encountered two of these while exploring the tunnel network on this planet. Greer shot one causing the ceiling of the tunnel to collapse, blocking their only escape route.
- Many new players kill the level 2 giant spiders to train combat because of their low combat level and close location to the starting point in Lumbridge. They primarily attack with ranged. The level 33 spiders are rarely trained on, and are aggressive. They also use ranged in combat.
- Giant Spiders are a series of monsters of the Insectoid family encountered several times in the game. In Greece they usually dwell in forests but also dungeons and caverns, often accompanied by Arachnoses. In Orient, new types of spiders will appear first in Babylon and later in forests and certain caverns. Later in Hades, Albino spiders are encountered. Spiders are generally slow-moving and aren't much of a threat, though their bites can be damaging as they often inflict life-leech damage or poison, and some of them can slow down the player by spitting viscous balls of webs.
- If you are polymorphed into a giant spider, you can spin Webs using the #monster command without using up any power. Spinning a web inside of a monster with a digestion attack will cause it to spit you out (webs do not bother other engulfers). Spinning a web can be used to remove a (spiked) pit, hole, trap door, or rolling boulder trap. This is done without creating a web on the same square that must be removed. Since most other traps can be removed by digging a pit over them, it is possible to permanently remove almost any trap.
- The Giant Spider is a dark grey, eight-legged, Level 6 creature which inhabits the forests of Oberin, Aborek, and the Spider Cave. It attacks players on sight, is fast, has a strong bite, and its bite often poisons. Dead giant spiders yield Spider Legs, Poison Glands, and Spider Fangs (which can be traded in to Duvalle for Volcanic Ash).
- A giant spider is a spider of staggering size — perhaps 15 feet around — with great furred body. Many horror stories in Mulgore begin and end with one of these terrifying beasts. Giant spiders are 15 feet in diameter, these huge relatives of the brown wolf spider roam large territories, feeding on livestock and herds before moving on to fresh hunting grounds. A giant spider will establish a large nest, sleeping and digesting meals there, then abandon it when the local area becomes unfavorable.
- Many new players kill the level 2 giant spiders to train combat because of their low combat level and close location to the starting point in Lumbridge. They primarily attack with ranged. Giant spiders in Lumbridge sometimes have a 1 out of 6 chance to drop an Earth talisman. The level 33 variants are rarely trained on, and are aggressive. They also use ranged in combat.
- The Giant Spider is the strongest common variety of Spiders, mostly encountered during Baldur's Gate with only a couple potentially being spotted in Baldur's Gate II. They are almost always encountered within the depths of a forest, particularly during waylaid encounters between such areas, and are distinguishable from their brethren by way of a green body with grey legs - pointedly different from the more powerful Phase Spider.
- Giant Spiders are a significant danger to adventurers, being commonly encountered in caves, dungeons, and other dark, hidden and wild places across Titan. Many of these creatures are simply referred to as "Giant Spiders", although this is probably a cover term for a range of different species, including:
- Giant spiders were quite simply enormous versions of regular spiders. Existing in various types, there was no way to singularly describe their appearance; with various types ranging in size from that of a dog to a house. Giant versions of tarantulas existed, as did black widows, spitters, spinners, and all manner of others. Their appearances, habits and environments all varied greatly. Goblins were known to employ them as mounts. Due to her nature, there were bound to be giant spiders serving the goddess Lolth.

Monster Memory | - Standard description
Among the largest of the arachnids, these have been reported as tall as a human, with long fangs ready to deliver a potent poison. At his size, the light fur covering the shell is apparent. Dark elves have been known to wear armor made from these beasts, although the secret of the making is closely held.
Alternate description
These spiders are larger and more aggressive than even the well-known large spider. Aside from being about 12 ft in diameter, it has a poisonous bite. Because of their size, giant spiders are almost always hungry. It seems to be eyeing you for its next meal.

Description | - Giant spiders are monsters in ADOM. Like all spiders, they are able to spin webs and have a poisonous melee attack. They can also be summoned en masse by dark elven spellcasting monsters. Their poisonous attacks can be dangerous to early game PCs; and since many of them are generated by summoners and thus killed in large numbers throughout the game, swarms of high level giant spiders can be a nuisance in the late game.

Notes | - Giant Spiders used to be one of the most feared monsters, mainly because of the locations they could be found in. Some years ago, they were often being lured to Venore, Dwarf Bridge, and the roads near it. They were commonly found in places one would never expect to find such a beast. Giant Spiders used to be immune to fire but now they are weak to it.

It was commonly found in places one would never expect to find such a beast, and as a result many unprepared players died daily. Now, it is but a shadow of its former glory and tends to poof into smoke while being run in the plains of havoc. The Giant Spider's boss is The Old Widow.

Strategy | - Mages can use Strong Haste and shoot them with runes or Flame Strike. It is recommended to reach at least level 40-50 before trying this. Mages should try their first solo at a single spawn, with a large running area and perhaps a ladder or stairs nearby for an emergency escape. At level 45+ you shouldn't need magic shield, unless there is more than one Giant Spider. If you need extra firepower you could summon Fire Devils or Fire Elementals.
- Paladins with level around 50 and Boots of Haste can just run and shoot Bolts or Enchanted Spears. Just remember that a Crossbow has a range of 5, while enchanted spears only have a range of 4. If you have Haste, you can start hunting at level 35, but if the Giant Spider uses haste too, you might get caught. Distance Fighting at 70+ is recommended.
- Giant Spiders seem to enjoy changing targets, the blocker should use Challenge if they have Premium Account and should stand between the Giant Spider and the shooters. This makes retargetting less likely. While blocking you should also kill the Poison Spiders so they don't break your shield.
- Mages: same as for paladins or can either run away with haste and shoot it with runes or they can just use Flame Strike to kill it. Mages should at least reach level 40-50 before trying this. Mages should try their first solo at the GS at the Darashia hill. If you have level 45~, you won't need magic shield. Just use Light or Intense Healing, when you're a Mage with Flame Strike and your strongest fire Wand/Rod. Some mages at this spawn, if they are able to time things correctly, can stand on the parcels, wait for the giant spider to leave the top of the screen, go up and shoot a spell or rune like Fireball at the giant spider, then quickly jump back down the parcels before the spider reaches them. Levels as low as 18 can do this after making a backpack of Fire Field runes.
Free mages or mages who need an extra firepower could summon Fire Devils for supporting them backwards.

- Knights: Can use melee to kill them if they have a good weapon and are highly skilled. Skill 80/80 Recommended.

- Paladin: strategy is simple, with around level 50 and Boots of Haste you just run and shoot bolts or enchanted spears at it. Just remember a crossbow has a range of 5, while enchanted spears only have a range of 4. If you have Haste, you can start hunting at level 35, but if it hastes too you might get caught. Distance 70+ Recommended. Stairhopping is also a good strategy for killing these.

- Knights can kill them with a good weapon and high skills. A fire-enchanted weapon and 80/80 skills are recommended.

The level 39 variants are fairly accurate and can hit up to 103 life points if you have low Defence, so it is recommended that players wear at least full rune armour and bring food. Alternatively, members can bring a bunyip, Saradomin godsword, unicorn stallion, a full set of Guthan's armour, or an Enhanced Excalibur to heal with.
All the spiders from Greece and Orient can drop the Venom Sac monster charm, while the Albino Spiders can drop the Albino Spider Web instead. Recommended Resistances: Damage, Bleed, Life Leech and Poison
- The Giant spider is the boss of Wesrin Cross ,and the first "boss" of the Halls of the Lost.
- It only appeared in Sibling Tsunami.
It is unknown how aggressive and dangerous it actually is. They are apparently web-building rather than hunting spiders, and appear to be solitary creatures, as a single spider was all the group encountered in the immediate area. (SGU: "Human") They found a second later on, but it did not attack, either. (SGU: "Lost")
- Giant Spiders are another species mutant creatures that live in the wasteland.
- Recommended for players with low combat level.
- Big, ugly, venomous creatures that roam just west of Cathalon and in some caves.
Giant spiders could attack in a variety of ways, typically whatever way their normal counterparts could. Some spun huge webs that prey easily stumbled into, while others spat a deadly poison. Some were capable of walking on ceilings, while others were not. Despite the differences between the types of giant spider, allweare formidable opponents and certainly not foes for any arachnophobes to face. Due to her nature, there were bound to be giant spiders serving the goddess Lolth.
A giant spider is generated every time a spider web trap is randomly generated.

Like most spiders, they can Poison their enemies and are immune to Web. They are essentially a step up from the Huge Spider, while not yet evolving any special abilities often found among the higher-tiered spiders. They also have a relatively low mobs-per-spawn rate, with a high level party only ever encountering as many as two, comparable in this regard to the Cave Bear or Wraith Spider while pointedly being worth significantly less experience than either.
Because of its previously mentioned attributes, the Giant Spider (GS) is an excellent pet choice for the Druid who has achieved level 6 Taming. Giant Spiders eat Raw Steaks, steaks, trout, and most other meats, and must be fed frequently while fighting. They can often be found in the forests around Mirith. The Gooey Park South/Southwest of Mirith is a good place to train a new GS, as they can generally solo a gooey with just a couple of heals.
- Giant Spiders are a significant danger to adventurers, being commonly encountered in caves, dungeons, and other dark, hidden and wild places across Titan. Many of these creatures are simply referred to as "Giant Spiders", although this is probably a cover term for a range of different species, including:
* Cragspider
* Giant Black Spider
* Giant Bloodsucking Spider
* Giant Crab Spider
* Giant Earth Spider
* Giant Forest Spider
* Giant Harvest Spider
* Giant Jumping Spider
* Giant Marsh Spider
* Giant Orb-Web Spider
* Giant Pirate Spider
* Giant Spike Spider
* Giant Spitting Spider
* Giant Trapdoor Spider
* Giant Water Spider
* Giant Wolf Spider
* Tangleweb Spider
Giant spiders lie in wait, sometimes building piles of loose materials to cover them. Once a victim comes within reach, they pounce, biting several times and then backing off. Unlike other large spiders, giant spiders will rip bits of flesh free, storing them in something like cheek pouches for digestion. Prey is wrapped in a thin sheet of webbing mainly to make it easier to transport them back to the spider's lair.
- The giant spider is a monster which appears in a number of role-playing games and movies.

- Many new players kill the level 2 giant spiders to train combat because of their low combat level and close location to the starting point in Lumbridge. They primarily attack with ranged. The level 33 spiders are rarely trained on, and are aggressive. They also use ranged in combat. The level 39 Giant spiders are fairly accurate and can hit up to 103 LP if you have low defence, so it is recommended that players wear at least full rune armour and bring food (filling the inventory with food is recommended as the spiders drop nothing). Alternatively, members can bring a Bunyip, Saradomin Godsword, Unicorn Stallion, or a full set of Guthans to heal with. The level 39 Giant spiders have 1425 hp and fight with ranged. Unlike their level 2 and 33 cousins, however, they do NOT drop anything, not even charms.
