  • A deathtrap is a room which results in the immediate death of players who enter it with the irrevocable loss of their equipment (players cannot enter the room to loot corpses). Deathtraps represent a minority of rooms in the game with most zones not featuring any. Deathtraps should be differentiated from the entering of water rooms without a canoe or raft. When a player without a canoe or raft in their inventory enters a water room they are also immediately killed, but these rooms can be entered without consequence when the appropriate watercraft is present. Deathtraps are especially common in The Ways and in Shadar Logoth. Boats which are captained by mobs may throw players overboard into a deathtrap if they make trouble or attack sailors.
  • Deathtrap is a track in the Biohazard (2002) Best Track Collection.
  • This is an unofficial prequel to Ian Livingstone's 'Deathtrap Dungeon.' It was written by Philip Sadler and was released for download on the 26th September 2016. It is 499 references long. • The Deathtrap is the science project-turned bodyguard of the Mechromancer class, Gaige. Formerly called "D374-TP" before completion, it is now affectionately called "DT" or "Deathtrap" by Gaige, its creator. Gaige's skill, "Summon Deathtrap," summons Deathtrap to fight for her.
  • Deathtrap is the 153rd level in Chip's Challenge 2. It was created by Joshua Bone.
  • Deathtraps are the 8-Bit Theater version of airships. The Light Warriors generally use deathtraps to travel around. The original deathtrap was bought off of Jeff, and although it crashed it seems that White Mage and Sarda repair the same ship over and over again. 'Deathtrap moments' include the iconic return of the deathtrap (landing on top of Black Mage), the Airsub (really just the deathtrap, but can travel underwater, although it does that poorly), and the most recent return of the deathtrap. Sarda claims that the other airships that he gave the Light Warriors did not fly, they only 'missed the ground a solid sixty percent of the time'.
