Peter is the eldest child of Fitz and his wife Joyce. Peter also has a sister and a younger brother.
When Peter was a young boy, his father Fitz began an affair with a much younger woman that eventually broke up their family when Fitz left them. Joyce was publicly humiliated and Peter soon began to hate his father.
