  • Bob Whitlow (February 15, 1936 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Pontiac, MI. He competed in two Nextel Cup Series events in his career. His debut came in 1973, when he competed at Texas World. Starting 35th in the field of thirty-eight, Whitlow fell forty-six laps down in the event but still earned a solid 21st place finish. Whitlow was luckily able to better that in his other event, competing at Michigan. Starting 29th in the field of thirty-six, Whitlow again fell quite a number of laps down but still earned a career-best 19th place finish.
  • Robert Edward Whitlow (born February 15, 1936 in Shelbyville, Indiana) is a former American football center in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons, and Cleveland Browns. He played college football at the University of Arizona. Whitlow is the only NFL player to also compete in USAC and NASCAR stockcar events.[citation needed] He currently assistant coaches High School Track.
