| abstract | - Bridget McManus is a character portrayed by Josie Loren in the episode "The Dead Pool" on Castle. She is the former girlfriend of Zach Lindsey. Bridget is very clear about what would happen to anybody who tried to take her man away from her, and since that, on his voicemail, included him, she is pulled in as a suspect by the NYPD. Bridget invested heavily in the relationship, and although she herself doesn't seem physically capable of overwhelming an athlete roughly twice her size, as a girl with four strapping brothers, she takes a while to drop off the radar. Bridget, psychologically speaking, brings the whole of Bensonhurst into the interrogation room for moral support, and the interplay with Beckett and Castle offers some truly humorous moments.
