He can pull off the technique with extreme speed, almost instantly. The light explosion covers a relatively large proximity. It emits rays of blinding light, which hurts the target's eyes even more than looking at the sun, which leads them to either closing their eyes or being temporarily blinded. The secret of this technique lies in the discharge of Yin energy. If the opponent is caught in the proximity of the discharge, they're immediately caught in the user's Genjutsu. This technique can be used on several opponents at once. While simple, this technique is considered a very lethal Genjutsu due to its various uses.
