Daarom was het ook logisch dat instructeurs als Cin Drallig Form I beheersten. Kit Fisto was bijvoorbeeld een meesterlijke beoefenaar van Form I. Obi-Wan Kenobi leerde aan Luke Skywalker Shii-Cho aan boord van de Millennium Falcon in 0 BBY.
