  • An elf is a creature of Germanic mythology. The elves were originally thought of as a race of minor nature and fertility gods, who are often pictured as youthful-seeming men and women of great beauty living in forests and underground places and caves, or in wells and springs. They have been portrayed to be long-lived or immortal and as beings of magical powers. Following J. R. R. Tolkien's influential The Lord of the Rings, wherein a wise, immortal people named Elves have a significant role, elves became staple characters of modern fantasy.
  • Elves are small supernatural creatures. In "The Southern Vampire Mysteries", very little is known about elves. There is mention in the short story "Two Blondes" that Elves have very sharp teeth and that their blood is poisonous to vampires. If elf blood is ingested, it will greatly weaken and disorient a vampire for a short period of time. In "Two Blondes", Sookie shoots Rudy, a half-elf, in the face and chest but he is not mortally wounded. This implies that they are very durable supernaturals and may potentially be more dangerous than others that have been previously introduced. It also implies that they do not share the fairy susceptibility to iron.

A divergent aquatic race of blue-hued elves, known as nixies, are first encountered in Ultima IV.

Relative to most races, elves are incredibility long lived, even immortal as some believe. Some Elves, such as Morathi the Hag Sorceress, are indeed immortal, but this is not because of their natural biology but rather a consequence of a life warped by magic. As of 2522, her son Malekith has lived beyond 6980 years. A typical high elf noble would do well to live two thousand years however. Despite the blessing of longevity, most Elves do not reach old age, most perish not at the hands of disease, to which they are highly resistant, but from battle.

  • A race of humanoid creatures created by the Wizards long ago. Early on, it was decided that we enjoyed the traditional races of DnD but ultimately disliked certain facts about them.Traditionaly in fantasy, elves have been depicted as some sort of culturaly advanced immortals being, as near to perfection as possible. One of the major default of them was to be often arrogant.Inspired by the work of Raymond E Feist, we decided to give the elves a complete remake of their origins and way of life.So we reasoned that wizards of old had grown arrogant in their mastery of magic, and from this arrogance came a sense of loneliness, seeing all non wizards as greatly inferior and unworthy of their time, let alone affection. The elves were created to remedy to this loneliness.Pregants women were abducte

  • Elves are a race in 8-Bit Theater. They are incredibly egotistical, and their personality can be summed up using the following quote. * "Man, I don't have time for this. I'm a busy elf. I've got places to go, people to act superior to and elder-than-thou attitudes to express." * "Oh, I know! People seem to think it's easy to perpetuate these Tolkien-esque stereotypes of haughty elves. In reality, it's very hard work." * "Even if it does come quite naturally." * "Which it certainly does!" • When the gateways from the Feywild first opened, the wanderlust stricken Elves were the first to go through. While their cousins the Eladrin headed west towards the coast, the Elves moved more inland to the vast forests that dominated the north. Over time, the natural abilities of the Elves and the stories of Green Lake spread and the Elves were thought of as all being some sort of magical being. Their powers were coveted by the Lycari to the north and the Nerathi to the south. The Wolf War was fought over control the Greenlands, and arguably, the Elves lost as badly as the Lycari.
  • In Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, elves are extradimensional inhuman monsters. Elves on the Discworld are based more on the nastier kind of fairy-folk in British and European folklore than elves as portrayed in most modern (post-Tolkien) fantasy fiction. They are not native to the Disc, but come from a "parasite universe", sometimes called Fairyland. This pocket dimension can latch onto different universes at certain times, allowing the elves (and other fae creatures such as unicorns, Jenny Greenteeth and, before they were cast out, the Nac Mac Feegle) to go hunting.

  • Elves appear in many fairy tales, poems, and legends, but are rarely seen by human eyes. They are creatures who exist in the Astral Plane, and may appear in the physical world if they so desire. Only humans who have not closed their minds to the idea of mythical creatures are capable of perceiving them; religious zealots of the Holy See cannot. As such, Farnese is only able to fully perceive Puck after secularizing herself. Elves often become invisible to humans in large religious establishments such as monasteries and cathedrals, or in large crowds, though they sometimes appear to rural religious communities. They can most often be observed by children. In addition, elves can be seen by those familiar with astral creatures, such as Guts.
  • There are several sub-races of elves scattered across Nyn. The Sky Elves were the first race of elves, being the mortal children of the winds, with delicate features and wings that allowed them to soar freely though the skies. During the Elemental Wars, they were enslaved by the sons of stone, the giants, and their wings ripped off. The giants quickly discovered that these elves could not survive being removed from the sight of the sky and sun, and were renamed the sun elves. .
  • The Elves aren’t too popular with the other races - they’re thought of as being blatantly arrogant. Nevertheless the other races do respect them, albeit grudgingly. Even the Orcs admire the Elves’ bold and fearless battle tactics (and that’s saying something!). There is one race which has no time for the Elves, however… the Serpents. It’s said that they truly despise the dwarves – and that the feeling is mutual. After the Great War of the Gods, the Elves populated the offshore islands to the northwest of Cathalon - and since then, have taken nothing to do with mainland affairs. Thanks to this reclusiveness, not much is known about what the Elves have been doing in the last few centuries - rumours do abound however - and the most popular is that they are only concerned with their own deeds,
  • Living thousands of years, Elves are one of the longest lived humanoids in Tellic. These are a people of art, beauty, study, and perfection. They tend to be pompous and often considered arrogant by other races. They are known as masters of art, nature, and magic. The Elvin races can be divided into varrious sub-races. First being the High Elves who live in Eladrin; they are known as civilized elves as they have built great cities of magic. In Eladrin one can find the cloistered monasteries and communes of the Gray elves; the noble elves. The gray elves are true masters of magic, but live isolated from the world and are often just as aloof with other elves as they are from other races. In the jungles and forests of Tellic one can most always find Wood Elves, living in small treetop villages
  • The Elves, the oldest and noblest of all races, come from the forests of southern Fiara. The magnificent trees of the Finon Mir provided protection against the powerful dragons, allowing these children of nature to prosper and live in relative peace under the roof of leaves. Elves grow tall, yet are of delicate stature, and their lifespan is much longer than that of other races. What they may lack in physical strength is more than compensated by their bravery and wisdom.
  • Elves (Wood Elves, Desert Elves, Dark Elves, Minion Elves, Silver Elves, Snow Elves)Mid-longevity: 500There are several kinds of elves. Most known are the regular Wood Elves. They hail from the continent, Alfald, and migrated all around the ’Obal’Daerum continent’, especially Aldamah, a long, long time ago. The wood elf, Agnin Mitathid is considered the forefather of all elven kings. He drank from the Pool of Longevity before it became ’The Pool of no use’, and therefore became more longevous. Only his descendants may become Elven Kings. These are called Hi-Elves, examples: Hepper, Typper, Tepper…Dark Elves inhabit the far western part of the Obal-continent, in the land of Hotkaba. They are a very strict race, with a strict hierarchy and rule.Desert Elves were a red-skinned, white-haired e
  • One of the most prominent races in the world (next to humans), the Elves encompass more parts of the world than other races. Elves live on the Northern Continent in the Toran Republic and in Falena on the Southern Continent, as well as Na-Nal in the Kuknasi Sea. This may in part be due to their ability to integrate easily amongst humans. In appearance they are very much like humans, with the exception of long pointed ears and unusual hair colours. Despite this resemblance, elven relations with humans are generally worse than any other race.

  • A race native to Alandor.
  • Elves represented multiple species in the Edgeworld. * Oakelves * Barkelves
  • An elf is a very real creature. It is also believed by most to be fasely of Germanic mythology. The elves are were once seen as a race of minor nature and fertility gods, who are often pictured as youthful-seeming men and women of great beauty living in forests and underground places and caves, or in wells and springs. They have been portrayed to be long-lived or immortal and as beings of magical powers. Following J. R. R. Tolkien's influential The Lord of the Rings (in which a wise, angelic (and human-sized) people named Elves have a significant role) elves became staple characters of modern fantasy (see Elves in fantasy fiction and games). Elf can be pluralised as both elves and elfs. Something associated with elves or the qualities of elves is described by the adjectives elven, elvish, elfin or elfish. According to a convention of modern fantasy literature, the 'v' in elven or elvish refers to human-sized elves (who correspond more closely to those of the old Germanic paganism), whereas the f in elfin or elfish refers to tiny-sized elfs (who correspond more closely to the folklore of the Renaissance and Romantic Eras).
  • The elves, which first occurence was in the third century before the Guardians, are one of the oldest humanoid tribes. Their native territory are the forests between Minat, Allovium and Orn, although they expanded to the north quickly, until far beyond Grimvil. This article is a . • The Elves are the most ancient race of Tarkus, their ancestors were the original Elverdan. During the Dark Years the wood elf Akaar of Agmar united all the elves under one flag and succeeded in defeating the orcs and he drove them back to the lands of doom. Goth with his elven archers passed the gate of Tor Minath and laid siege there and recognized as one of the greatest elven leaders in all of Tarkus. After the Light Years Goth was no longer needed by his fellow elves and went to dwell alone in the Torlin Forest. The wood elves seldom speak or guide through that forest. Some elves are also found in the Olden Stand. K'lynn T'ar ("Gentle Avenger") was an elven sword in the possession of Lakmir the Timeless. The Elves called Hawk the warrior as Akkar T'pau ("Dancer of death"). When two travelers Jairen and Fez approached the Olden Stand, their King wanted to see them. A band of elves surprised the travelers and tied them with vines. The King noticed the birthmark on the boy and understood he was a descendant of the Kings. He named him Lyth'n K'tarr ("Seed of Prophecy") and ordered his men to guide them through the forest safely. Later some elven archers followed Lakmir to the plain under Gatekeeper mountain and fought the armies of the Warlock Lord.
  • Elves are a magical race, typically older than most other races of intelligent people on the worlds they inhabit. Often secretive and withdrawn, they tend to be more attuned to nature and, thus, more powerful in the ways of magic than most races. Elves are generally tall and fair, with ears that taper to a gentle point. They may have iridescent eyes or exotic hair colours, or they may simply appear as exceptionally beautiful humans other than the ears. Elves are always graceful and attractive, typically embodying ideal forms. The Elves in Hey Nonny-Ah! inhabit a grand and magical forest and have a Seer who protects and guides them. Dhiar has commented that he finds abuse of Elves to be an unforgivable offence. Because of some similar features, it has been put forth as a possibility that Elves and Demons may be related.
  • Elves in Darkfall are divided into the following nations: * The Mirdain or "High Elves" * The Alfar or "Dark Elves" * The Avari or "Sand Giants" * The Ithwen, an extinct elf folk from Yssam
  • Elves are one of the species of uirishg. The repersent the element of Spirit.
For as long as they can remember, the elves lives peacefully in their forests, but with the demise of the dragons came humans, and with them trade and war. In the end, the elves were forced to either fight or perish – and fight they did, earning themselves a reputation as feared warriors, better as friends than as foes. Today, the elves have allied with humans and dwarves in order to face the menace of the dark races. None can match their prowess with the longbow, and they have learned to use the magic of nature and ice. The mages of the Circle knew of the elvish talent for magic and their use in battle, and created many runes to make use of their skills. Since the wars against the dark races and the time of the Circle, the elves have been living in clans strewn all across Fiara. Few survived the Convocation, however, so it is rare to meet one of these noble creatures in the northern lands.
  • Elves are less common in the PCG universe than in other fantasy/sci-fi universes. However, they are quite common in certain alternate universes, such as Soluna.
  • The Elves are Santa's helpers who only appear in A Visit to Santa they were played by the costumes of Baby Bop, BJ a nd Riff. Jeff Ayers, Kyle Nelson and Adam Brown.
  • Compared to humans, Elves are tall, fair-skinned, and slender. Most art shows them with high cheekbones and slightly angular faces and slanted eyes. Some depictions show them with black eyes, while others show them with normal pupils/irises. High Elves are often shown with blonde hair, Wood Elves with brown and Dark Elves with black but these changes are minor and the three groups are for the most part physically indistinguishable. Assuming they do not die a violent death, Elves are capable of living for thousands of years. It is not considered impossible for an Elf to live to be 6,000, although this would be extremely unusual. Most often an Elf will not die of old age in the human sense, rather he or she will simply grow weary of the world's troubles and lose passion for life, eventually passing away. Elves are inherently magical, and their long lives gives magically gifted elves more than enough time to train their skill at controlling many of the Winds of Magic. This is in contrast to human wizards, who can usually only hope to use one form of magic. Elves are resistant to disease and to physical mutations caused by Chaos, although notably they are still vulnerable to Nurgle's Rot. There is also some evidence that Chaos can affect their minds in more subtle ways. Elves experience emotions and thoughts more intensely than most other races. At best, this can result in them spending centuries training or honing a skill to perfection. At worst, they can become "lost" in their experiences, over-indulging and losing track of reality.

  • Elves are the near-human inhabitants of Earth. They mostly reside in Hyrule, but can sometimes be found in comic-coins and other nations or cosplay places elsewhere. They can also be found Making Shity Music and Making 13 year old girls horny like Jacob Sartorius. They are more recognized for having pointy ears which have a major resistance to ear rape (Hence the reason why they appear in many YouTube Poops).

The elves were created to remedy to this loneliness.Pregants women were abducted by wizards and their growing childs experimented upon, using magic to enhance some desirable traits.THe results of years of experiments resulted into the elves, a race born with a sole purpose, pleasure wizards. They were made graceful and beautiful, very pleasing to see, they were also created weak willed, so as to have them always obey and eager to please their master, more than that, they were also particularly vulnerable to the magic of wizards when it came to emotional control.Wizards gave the elves a long life spawn, since wizards themselves would grow fond of their new toys and would expect to keep them for quite a long time. All elves were born submissive and eager to please, wizards also saw the advantage in having a a creature of great beauty for other puprose. This is why elves comes in two category.Regular and dark elves. There is no racial or physical difference between the two groups, but the dark elves were trained not only to please, but also to kill, their goal would have been to infiltrate the courts of kings and queens, having them become lovers of important peoples but willing to kill for them for the wizards if need be.When the wizards left the world of veren-kor, bored with the peoples there, the elves were left behind. But unlike all other races, the elves still regularly see wizards, whom they try to please, even millenia after their creation. The elven culture is extremely rich and beautifull, filled with songs and arts, all aimed to please wizards, but there is also an undercurrent of cruelty in their culture.Even if they are born to please, elves need to be trained to truly reveal their submissive nature. This training is performed quite cruely by older elves, who put every child of theirs trough otrture and mental abuse for decades before they are considered fit to serve. Those trainers represent the ruling class of the elven culture. From time to time, elves also abduct humans, using them as slave to tend to the manual labor needed for the race to survive, yet abducted humans never complain because, by their very nature, elves are sensual creatures, expert in all matter of love. Humans are well treated and often used to train young elves into the arts of lovemaking. They are slaves in name only since they are treated well and free to go as soon as they want. No one ever tried to escape. As such the elves have a reputation of slavers and cruelty.Any child of an elf who is born with any kind of disfigurement or malformation is immediatly killed.
  • A nation from the Middle Earth .mod.
Thanks to this reclusiveness, not much is known about what the Elves have been doing in the last few centuries - rumours do abound however - and the most popular is that they are only concerned with their own deeds, vainly erecting one monument after another to their heroic actions during the Great War of the Gods. If you happen to meet an elf or two on the mainland, they are probably employed as mercenaries or are on some secret mission of their own.
  • Elves are a mysterious race of magical humanoids. Elves seem to be natives of the Eastlands, but none have ever been encountered there. The only definitely known elvish relic is a magical sword found in the Eastlands that glows when evil is nearby. However, rumors about elves abound. One Accardi weapons shop also claims to sell swords of elvish make. The authenticity of these claims have not been verified.
  • The Forest Lord is the compassionate and wise ruler of the Elven race. This ancient ruler is the ruler of all the elven race and is we known for the possession of coincidentally accurate prophetical tellings. (The Forest Lord is Appointed by the server admin and is not open to applicants) Nobles are the elite members of the Elven race. Nobles are the most skilled combat veterans of the Elven armies and are privileged to grand explorations led by either The Forest Lord or an exclusive group of other Nobles. (Nobles are appointed by The Forest Lord and are not open to applicants) Skirmishers are the military backbone of the Elven armies. Skirmishers are renowned for their effective use of bows and cunningly placed traps. A typical Skirmisher will try to dispatch of his foe from a distance via a bow to reduce the potential chance of injury; Elven war tactics and strategies are brutally effective. Foragers are the inquisitive and adventurous resource gatherers of the Elven race. This is the typical survivalist role of the Elven race.
  • Elves are an ancient race of creatures. They are well known throughout history for their natural understanding of magic, and are very skilled with the bow and arrow. The elven race was once unified, but now they are separated into three different castes: Deraisim, Cenath and Kuridai. A book which can be found in Ab'Dendriel says: Three other elfish castes are lost and almost forgotten: Abdaisim, Teshial and Chelabdil. Elves can be found in many places throughout tibia, but there are a number of elven establishments: Shadowthorn south-east of Venore and Elvenbane near the elven city of Ab'Dendriel. Elves also go out sometimes to raid. Tle Elven Boss is Dharalion, who appears sometimes in Shadowthorn. Most Elves do not have an elemental weakness. They are all neutral to Earth Damage and Ice Damage and the Elf Arcanist is weak against Holy Damage. See also Elf NPCs and Elven Language.
  • Inhabitants of the world long before humans appeared, the ancient race of elves once flourished in the forests. Slighter and shorter than humans (but still taller than the race of dwarves), they were gifted with natural grace, speed, and considerably long lifespans. The majestic elves departed the lands of Sosaria under mysterious circumstances, not long after the fall of Exodus (as chronicled in Ultima III). A divergent aquatic race of blue-hued elves, known as nixies, are first encountered in Ultima IV.
The most famous legends involving elves include the story of Red-Eyed Peekaf - a children's tale about a boy with elvish characteristics - and Sovereign Hanafubuku, the ruler of the idyllic elven homeland: Elfhelm.
  • The elves are minor characters on The 7D. They were first mentioned by Sneezy in "Grim the Dragon / Free Teensy" as his Hi-Ho Hankie were made by elves at Elfy Town. A Pfeffernüsse elf named Gingersnaps appeared in "Gingersnaps and Grumpy Snaps" and became Grumpy's servant after he saved his life. Many more appeared in the episode "Take Care of Your Elf!" after they walked off from their jobs after being offended by Grumpy. The elves are from the Kingdom of the Elves, and are ruled by the King of the Elves. Prior to the events of "Take Care of Your Elf!", a special day called Yip Yip Hooray for Elves Day was being observed to crown their next king by Queen Delightful, as they didn't have one for 502 years.
  • Elves are taller than the other humanoid races, more slender, elegant and dexterous. To human eyes they would appear startlingly beautiful and inhumanely fast. Although they look ostensibly human only a fool would judge an elf on first appearances; the wise among men would do well to shun these alien creatures, for an elf's mind is as foreign as his manner. They have an extraordinary capacity to learn and master. A Elf may concentrate on a single task with terrifying intensity, mastering anything from literature to magic, architecture to warfare well beyond the capacity of one from the 'lesser races'. It is only in metalcraft, which is the hallmark of the Dwarfs, that they are surpassed. They were the first among the existing races of the Warhammer World to learn speech, and thus call themselves the first speakers. These abilities have afforded the elves an immense source of pride. Consequently, they think very little of men, whom they regard as little better than Orcs, or any of the lesser races for that matter. The sedulity of the Elves is not without cost. Elves can easily lose track of time and environment, becoming fixed on a single task at the expense of all others. An elf enthralled by a beautiful painting or sculpture, or an Elf captivated by his work, can forego food, sleep and social interaction for weeks on end.

One of the things they hunt is people. Elves have no proper imagination or real emotions, and therefore such things fascinate them. Because they cannot create they steal musicians and artists. Because they cannot have children (although they are capable of breeding with humans, resulting in offspring with superficially elvish characteristics - skinny, pointy ears, a tendency to giggle and burn easily in the sun - but fundamentally human traits i.e. empathy) they steal children from the Disc to be their toys. Because they cannot feel empathy they enjoy the suffering of others. Even if an elf is, for reasons of its own, trying to be nice, its lack of understanding of humans mean there's always something "off" about it. Mostly they get away with this, due to the illusion-creating glamour they cast. While elves are, as mentioned above, not musical, elfsong is perceived as beautiful by humans, and is highly hypnotic. Elves are generally seen as innately beautiful and stylish, but this is just another aspect of the glamour. Some of them are only vaguely humanoid. The glamour does not seem to have as much effect on trolls and dwarfs, partly because they lack the romantic imagination to let it work and partly because of their connection to iron. Elves can be seen as the direct opposite of Prattchet's other recurring villains the auditors of reality as, while both have intentions hostile to life, elves lead chaotic existences unfettered by laws, rules and restrictions, as opposed to the totally ordered auditors. Elves, in fact, don't even seem to have a concept of rules. Elves have copper-based, blue-green blood, and are extremely vulnerable to iron. This is partly because there is no way of magicking iron, and partly that they have the ability to detect magnetic fields, and use them to navigate (as pigeons are thought to do) and even sense the thoughts of others from short distances. The presence of iron disrupts this and sends them into a panic. The main gateway to the world of Elves in Lancre is surrounded by several large boulders of naturally magnetised meteoric iron. When there is no iron around they have the absolute confidence of beings who know exactly where they are. Rational thought and the absence of superstition, which makes the glamour harder, is referred to by Nanny Ogg as "iron in the head". Elves are ruled by a King and Queen. They act much the same as the King and Queen in chess, the Queen is the most obvious ruler, organising the raiding parties and maintaining absolute control of her kingdom. The King (who bears some similarity to Cernunnos or Herne) tends not to get involved if he can avoid it and keeps to himself in a different aspect of Fairyland (possibly the Discworld version of Annwn). The King and Queen may once have ruled together, but it has been implied there was an acrimonious split, which brings to mind the rift between the fairy courts of Oberon and Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream. If it comes to that, there may not only be one King and Queen. However, due to the elves' lack of imagination and creativity any Kings and Queens of the Elves tend to be similar. Elven invasions of the Discworld are recorded in Lords and Ladies and The Wee Free Men. The Science of Discworld II: The Globe involves an attempted invasion of Roundworld (a version of our world).
  • Elves are small pointy-eared humanoid creatures that live in forests and have rarely appeared within the Smurfs cartoon and comics. Elves share the same skin pigment as humans and are usually as tall or slightly taller than Smurfs. There are also green elves which are twice the size of a Smurf. Female elf children resemble fairies due to having bug-like wings on their backs. There is a also different variety of elves known as woodelves who tend to the plant life within forests. Smurfs have also been mistaken for elves on several occasions. In the Smurfs comic book story "The Little Tree", the Smurfs meet a little elf named Vini who had been protecting her cursed sister who had been turned into a tree. A Woodelf named Laconia appeared in the episode "Smurfing In Sign Language" and became a close friend of the smurfs. In "Baby's First Christmas", Nicholas wished that he had a band of little elves to help him make toys. A green elf appeared in the episode "The Grouchiest Game In Town", where he was magically imprisoned by the Game Master for use in his his twisted board game. He was later freed along with the other prisoners thanks to Grouchy Smurf and returned to his family of elves safe and sound. In "A Loss Of Smurf", a narcissistic elf named Lofty who came from a far away land tricked Vanity Smurf into giving up his mirror in exchange for information about a beauty enhancing pool which was actually cursed water that turned anyone into Wartmongers. In "Clumsy's Cloud", the Smurfs sought out a hoarding elf named Glut in order to get his silver lining to stop a Castaway Cloud from destroying their village. In "Papa's Last Spell", Papa Smurf performed his magic before an audience of esteemed elf and imp wizards. In "The Magic Sack Of Mr. Nicholas", Nicholas at some point got his Christmas wish from last time and now had elf helpers, and these green elves have proven loyal and invaluable in helping Nicholas make his toys. However, they had recently become ill due to Elfluenza and were unable to wrap the toys they had made. So to help him finish his work, Nicholas called upon the aid of the Smurfs. In the comic book story "Bombollino Visits The Smurfs", the Smurfs met a traveling elf musician named Bombollino.
They are a very strict race, with a strict hierarchy and rule.Desert Elves were a red-skinned, white-haired elven race, that inhabited the Ornition Desert a long time ago now. They were pretty much extinct in a war against the ’Evil Malghorans’.Minion Elves are pitiful, and annoying (not to mention annoyed) race. They are vexed at being the shortest and bluntest of the elves. Therefore they are in general a sullen, morose and gruff race. They live here and there throughout elven lands, mostly among wood elves. They're similarity to goblins in social status a.o.t. is often pointed out by leading scholars.Silver Elves are mythological creatures, said to have been seen on the Obal-continent eons ago. But not everyone agrees that they ever existed.Snow Elves are rarely seen by outsiders, but they are, since the war of the Elven Ruler, a part of the Alfald kingdom. Still, they are a reserved race, who’d rather not let outsiders visit their eastern part of Alfald.Hi-Elves is what the descendants of the Mitathid-generation are refered to as. Only Hi-Elves are, according to elven tradition, allowed to gain the title of Elven King.
  • Elves mingle freely in human lands, always welcome yet never at home there. They are well known for their poetry, dance, song, lore, and magical arts. Elves favor things of natural and simple beauty. When danger threatens their woodland homes, however, elves reveal a more martial side, revealing skill with sword, bow, and battle strategy. Elves possess an ability known as Low-Light Vision. This ability allows them to see twice as far as something without Low-Light Vision, while in shallow sources of light, a single candle, starlight, moonlight.
  • When the gateways from the Feywild first opened, the wanderlust stricken Elves were the first to go through. While their cousins the Eladrin headed west towards the coast, the Elves moved more inland to the vast forests that dominated the north. During their travels, they came across a fair sized lake with mystical properties. Some of their number who drank from the lake, found themselves able to see beyond normal sight. Some saw the future, others saw the truth of matters, and others still could sense emotions of those around them. Algae had prospered in the lake, so the Elves began calling it Verdua, meaning Green Water. They continued to be nomadic, but kept within distances of the lake, eventually building small villages and calling the area Verdera, or the Green Lands. Rule by Nerath was never pleasant, and once the chance was given by the Crystal Wizards to rebel, the Elves took it. Since then, the Elves and Crystal Wizards have gotten along well, and the Elves have enjoyed their freedom. Because of their nomadic lifestyle, most Elves have limited possessions, choosing to carry just a few heirlooms and any necessary supplies. Some small groups of Elves, especially the farmers, tend to stay in a single location for several years at a time. The ones who are sedentary usually have very simple houses that are crafted from living trees. No matter their movement, Elves are like children. They are fond of shiny objects, regardless of value, and enjoy singing and dancing over most other activities. The moon holds a special place in their heart, as do stars.
  • This is one of the races, which players can choose for their characters in all games of the original series - with the exception of Wizardry IV. Elves are good choices for priests or mages, as they are pious and intelligent, though not very robust. In the more complex gameplay of the Dark Savant Saga, elves are naturally resistant against hypnosis and sleep spells. In addition to high intelligence, they are also quite fast.
  • The Elves were sealed into Silver Hills behind a crystal barrier in Snowhill. They were one of the four original races (Elves, Dwarves, Humans & Pixies). Only one Elf was introduced in the Sacred Grove, being Chugzy on August 13, 2013. Silversnow was seen waiting for the Elves to return from the Crystal Barrier.
In reality, it's very hard work." * "Even if it does come quite naturally." * "Which it certainly does!" A little more is revealed in the National Elven Anthem. When Drizz'l confronts Thief, Thief claims that there is a line about that in their anthem "We're a race of total Bastards." Drizzl'l acusses the Elves of stealing the song from them, to which Thief replies that he is from a race of total bastards. It is speculated that since Thief and Drizz'l do not know anything about aquatic travel or swimming for that matter, all elves lack these skills and the knowledge of the outside world. • Elves (sing. Elf, lat.: Homo sapiens nobilis) appeared for the first time in 2011. Starting from this year, some human mothers bore dwarvish or elvish children. Medical researchers called the transformation of these babies Unexplained Genetic Expression (UGE).
  • Elves were a species of Esria with a long and varied past. Throughout their history they were known for keeping close bonds with the forests, and naturally distrusted those who brought destruction to their lands. Over time, their diaspora grew to be seen all across the world, with varied cultures and beliefs that differed sometimes more than those of other races. Elves were naturally gifted with agility and clarity of mind, and were known to be great loremasters and archers, although it was not unknown for them to become mages or duelists. The majority of Elves were renowned in their professions and often grew to achieve a level of mastery that dwarfed that of most races, given their long lifespan, which was longer than any, save the Dragons. The Elves were the first race on Esria to forge a vast empire. During its height, it presided over the fate of an entire continent, and founded many of the principles that would go on to be used in successor states after its destruction.
  • Elves are a grouping of non-human races. All are generally categorized visually by having pointed ears longer than the human norm, having lighter builds than humans (although this may not equate to lesser strength), being more graceful in their movements and speech than humans, and having a higher magical or psionic potentials. Differences beyond that vary widely.
  • Elves (singular: elf) are sprite-like creatures, which like trolls, are pointed-eared. And also like vampires, also having pointy ears. They have pointed ears and in some fiction, very short in stature.
  • Elves are a tall, graceful race; standing slightly taller than the average Human and practically towering over Dwarves and Kobolds. Although they are creatures of flesh and blood, they can claim close kinship with plants, often exhibiting leaf-shaped ears, bark-like skin, sap-like blood and other arboreal traits. As such, the appearance of the Elves can have as many variations as there are plants in the world. They tend to weigh a lot less than the average Human and are able to achieve feats of agility that rival the Kobolds. The sun elves are the descendents of the sky elves. Though they no longer have wings, they still cannot survive being out of sight of the sun and sky for too long. Over the centuries, they have shifted their affinity to fire, and are now commonly found among the other sons of Fire, such as the orcs. The wood elves were sun elves that fled towards the forests, eventually residing amongst the trees and learning the ways of nature. Winterling elves were sun elves that settled in the northern mountains of Lyr. Adapting to the harsh conditions of their new homes, they gained an affinity to Frost and can be found in the armies of Lyr. Dark elves fled to the Shadowlands, a twisted wasteland where magical storms raged. Tainted by the shadow, they became fearsome warriors who cared not for life, neither theirs nor others. .

In general, elves tend to view humans as lower beings, due to their shorter life spans (Elves tend to live 50% longer than humans) and their tendency to war. This is not always true however, as many different Elves have integrated themselves successfully into human culture - whether it was due to being raised by humans or other reasons (one such scenario being that the tree, Lukiae Ende Towayo, sheds its leaves every sixty years forcing the elves to leave for a year).

Elves were obtained many different ways: * Once the player built the Elf Cave that unlocked Santa's Tasks, they were awarded with four elves to start the player off. * As a reward for completing Santa's Tunnels (1 per tunnel, 19 in total). * As the fifth day's reward in the Daily Play Combo. As soon as each elf was unlocked, they went straight to the Toy Workshop where they began their 4h tasks. File:Toyworkshopbell.png In the Toy Workshop, the player could keep track of the total number of Elves they had, how many total presents they would earn from the Elves, and the progression of the 4h task for each individual elf. Once the jobs were completed, the Elves exited the Toy Workshop and a (File:Present.png)Present Icon appeared (similar to the Thumbs Up Icon), above each individual elf, to notify the player that the job(s) were done. When tapped, the players would earn their income and the Elves automatically returned to the Workshop to begin their tasks once again. Once the player unlocked the Toy Workshop Bell, the player could tap on the bell and collect presents from all the elves (who finished their jobs) at once, instead of having to tap them individually.
