In 2003-04, Brett scored four goals in 23 WP appearances with Cefn before leaving at exactly the same time as the surprising sacking of manager and good friend Steve O'Shaughnessy. In the summer of 2004, Brett joined Welshpool Town F.C., along with twin Ross and good friends Dave Cunnah and Jimmy Hunter. In 40 WP appearances for Welshpool Town F.C., Brett has yet to score.
