During the End War, the forces of Amon destabilized the planet of Veridium Prime and deactivated the stabilizers. Allied commanders were tasked by Valerian Mengsk to prevent the planet's destruction. The allied commanders recovered twenty xenon crystals from the planet, reactivating a stabilizer and preventing the planet's destruction.
