  • An Ore is an item (ususally a type of unrefined metal) that you can obtain from mining a rock in the Mining skill by using a pickaxe. Metal ores can be smelted into bars by using the ores on a furnace using the Smithing skill. Iron ore, silver ore, coal, gold ore and mithril ore can be exchanged for certificates at Draynor Village market or south of Zanaris bank to trade bulk amounts of ore easier and faster.
  • They can be sold or used in custom furniture at Re-Tail. In addition, for 10,000 Bells and three Gold Nuggets, Cyrus can make a random piece from the Golden series.
  • Ore are collectable resources that allow you to collect material that can be processed and then used for crafting. Multiple ores can be processed by a Ore Processing Master to form ingots. To collect ores you need a collection tool. Ores can be seen as yellow dots on your map.
  • There are 300 Ore Crystals to be found in Red Faction: Guerrilla. When you smash them all, a trophy/achievement will be awarded. Ore Crystals are similar to buildings in a way: they release Salvage after being destroyed. Each Crystal will release 2 pieces of Ore, each piece worth 5 Salvage (6 salvage with Ore Additive upgrade). Taken that the player does purchase the Ore Additive upgrade, collecting all 300 Ore Crystals will award the player 3600 Salvage.

  • Ore is one of the five principle resources in Catan. When a mountain's corresponding number is rolled, any player who has a settlement or a city adjacent to it receives ore. File:Ore.png for a settlement, File:Ore.png File:Ore.png for a city. Ore is primarily used to upgrade settlements into cities and build development cards. However, it has other uses depending on what expansions are used, such as building knights in Catan: Cities & Knights.

  • Ore is a type of rock that contains sufficient minerals with important elements including metals that can be economically extracted from the rock. The ores are extracted through mining; these are then refined (often via smelting) to extract the valuable element(s). In Star Fox 64 and the 3DS release, Ore was carried and utilised by The Forever Train on its way to delivering them to the weapons labs on Macbeth during the Lylat Wars.
  • Hank and Ben used their blue ray extractor to remove the quarks from gold, thus rendering the gold ore null of any trace of gold. Their intent was to destroy the world's gold, which they felt humanity placed too much value on. But their quark mining also had an effect on other elements, such as iron, slate and carbon.
  • Ores are found by mining. They are used at forges to smith items. Items cannot be melted back into ore form.
  • Ore is an item which serves as money for all purchases of the player, having more value than ordinary points and the player can buy advanced items.
  • Ore was a type of mineral. It was valuable to the Galactic Empire, which destroyed a farm that belonged to Morad Sumar due to its proximity to a vein of ore; the Empire wanted the land for itself to extract the ore.
  • Ore is used to make ingots at a smelter. Ingots require 2 ores to be made.
  • A strange type of ore is seen in the Phazon Quarry on the Pirate Homeworld. It is "a mix of between muscle and wood in it's shape, but actually composed of metal ore, with veins of hot blue glowing substance inside." A Mining drill can be operated to mine the substance, and it glows orange when cut, but this glow soon after fades. There are two deposits in the Phazon Quarry on either side of the room; one is cut into a Half-pipe that Samus Aran uses to leave the room and the other becomes a staircase in the wall to a Missile Expansion.
  • Outer Ring Excavations was founded by Yani Sar Arteu and Orion Mashel. It is one of the largest mining corporation in New Eden and a leading technological innovators in deep space mining. It employs its own mining fleet and sells their ships to make a profit as well as sell resources from their mining operations. They used their massive wealth to buy protection for their bases and keep their operations secret. With several pirate factions trying to muscle in on the ORE territories, but with little success.
  • Ore is a primary resource. It is gathered in the Ore Mine. It can be turned into Iron, by spending an Occupation point at the Smelter with Ore and Coal in the warehouse.
  • In early 2153, the Seleya made it into the Delphic Expanse and entered an asteroid field to mine trellium ore and refine it into trellium-D. (ENT: "The Expanse") Topaline ore could disrupt sensors. (TOS: "Friday's Child" ; ENT: "The Shipment") Ore ships called on the lithium cracking station on Delta Vega in the 23rd century. (TOS: "Where No Man Has Gone Before" ) The Woden was an old-style automated Federation Antares-type ore freighter destroyed in 2268. (TOS: "The Ultimate Computer" ) In 2371, the Xhosa hauled a load of duridium ore to Solais V. (DS9: "The Adversary")

  • Gold bars and raw ores can be dropped on the floor of Your Home to increase its rank, but only gold bars and ores in the top 10 furniture items will contribute. Ergo, the higher the rank of PC's house, the more expensive the ore will need to be in order to be counted. See PC's house board to view the top 10 items. The ore pieces PC finds in the wilderness are NOT considered ores, most likely being useless refuse from actual ore. * * rounded down
  • Ore is a new third resource introduced in Black and White 2, represented when stored or in piles by a grey-coloured heap of dust. It is an invaluable resource used for both the construction of impressive buildings and fortifications and for equipping the army. Ore can be found by harvesting ore rocks, identifiable by their mottled appearance, or by predetermined ore mines scattered about the island. The Player can harvest ore rocks within his or her influence at leisure, however mines can only be accessed by villagers and the Creature. Disciple Miners are villagers dedicated to harvesting ore.
  • Ore is a quantity of rock which contains a substantial amount of minerals in combination, which can be broken down to extract and refine available geologic materials. Ores are mined so that the valuable minerals they contain can be extracted and used. By the 24th century, Janus VI was one of the major sources of ores in the Federation. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky) In the 23rd century, ore ships visited the lithium cracking station on Delta Vega every twenty years. (TOS episode: "Where No Man Has Gone Before")
  • Ore is a common term for a variety of raw minerals excavated by forward mining bases before the appearance of Tiberium. Usually golden in color, it was mined by ore trucks and delivered to the furnaces of ore refineries for smelting and processing into usable forms. The term ore as used for the resource refers to those raw materials designated in the command interface as valuable minerals in Great World War II, which in the interface were recognised as a gold substance for the purpose of drawing the attention of field commanders to its immense strategic importance.
  • An Ore is a type of Block naturally found in Minecraft. Ores are primarily collected for crafting purposes, to make items such as Tools, Armor, and more. Redstone from Redstone Ore is used as a type of wiring which can be used to create redstone circuits, Compasses, Clocks, and other items. Coal from Coal Ore can be used to smelt other Ores, such as Gold and Iron for storage purposes or building. Since layer 0 is the lowest layer and consists of only Bedrock, no Ore can be found there. It can, however, be spawned very close to the bottom of the map, at layer 1. Certain Ores have the habit of spawning at any layer.

The process of excavating was long and arduous, and with the arrival of Tiberium, ore was more or less rendered obsolete as a resource, as the new element carried out the mining process all by itself.

Extractors take a little while to extract all the Ore; however the better the extractor-type is, the faster it works and also the more ore will be gained. Basic Extractor: Advanced Extractor: Super Extractor: These Ores will define the tiers of Power Cells, armor and weapons that you can craft. Mind that finding Lumite and crafting Lumite equipment is not "the end" of the game, as Creativerse is a sandbox-game that has many more features and different possible goals that you can define for your own gameplay however you like.

Since mining lasers work in m3 instead of ore units, and the volume of the higher end ores is up to 400 times that of the low end ones, it's a good idea to check prices per m3. Currently, there is about a 10 fold difference in the amount one makes per m3 (and therefore, per time) on the best ores versus veldspar. Also, the more valuable an ore type, the further from Empire space you will need to travel to find it. Mercoxit is a special ore type found only in the furthest reaches of space. It requires special Deep Core Mining skills and equipment to extract, and it's refined form, Morphite is essential to Tech II production.

  • An ore is a type of rock that contains sufficient minerals with important elements including metals that can be economically extracted from the rock. The ores are extracted from the earth through mining; they are then refined (often via smelting) to extract the valuable element, or elements. The grade or concentration of an ore mineral, or metal, as well as its form of occurrence, will directly affect the costs associated with mining the ore. The cost of extraction must thus be weighed against the metal value contained in the rock to determine what ore can be processed and what ore is of too low a grade to be worth mining. Metal ores are generally oxides, sulfides, silicates, or "native" metals (such as native copper) that are not commonly concentrated in the Earth's crust, or "noble" metals (not usually forming compounds) such as gold. The ores must be processed to extract the metals of interest from the waste rock and from the ore minerals. Ore bodies are formed by a variety of geological processes. The process of ore formation is called ore genesis.

The amount of ore yielded with each rock or mine can be enhanced with the smelter. Once bought, the smelter should be one of the first buildings constructed to get the most out of the settlement's nearby sources. Unlike wood or food, ore is a finite resource on most maps. Once used up, it cannot be regained. Given the reduced radius that influence has in Black and White 2 and the lack of resource-based miracles, players may find new sources of ore difficult to access. Additional ore may be brought in by migrants from other cities, or else the Creature may be able to retrieve ore rocks from outside the influence. The exception is the Third Island, which has a bottomless ore mine a short distance from the starting position, and in Battle of the Gods, where the Life Miracle can restock ore supplies at the storehouse.

They can be given to PC's pets to sell, who will then use the gold to train their potential. These are also the only items PC's pets are known to sell, apart from small medals, and they will usually make a killing doing so; when sold by pets, the pet will always receive a flat price depending on what they sell, from 10 gold for junk stone, to 450 for raw ores. Pets, unlike PC, may sell worthless fake gold bars, though only for a measly 1gp. Pets will automatically pick up ores from the floor, after which PC cannot get them back. PC can prevent this either by making sure that there is at least one other stack of items on the same spot, completely filling the pet's inventory, or, in Elona+, using a Tamer's Whip on the pet. The entire class of items is also the preferred offering type for Opatos of Earth and Jure of Healing (excluding the fake gold bar, which cannot be offered). Note that sacrificing junk stones nets just as much favor as sacrificing diamond ores and the former can be found lying around in the wilderness, so the more expensive types can be reserved for selling or giving to pets. The ore pieces PC finds in the wilderness are NOT considered ores, most likely being useless refuse from actual ore. * Value is the item's full price; depending on Negotiation skill the PC will sell these items for between 10% and 33% of this price. Pets will always sell for 100% of item price regardless of their negotiation skill. * * rounded down
  • Ore was a type of mineral.
