This is considered one of the luckiest stages in television by industry insiders. The teaser trailer for Star Trek was shot in part on Paramount Stage 25. Half of the stage was enveloped in greenscreen and greenfloor for the insertion of CGI (namely, the USS Enterprise). Experienced welders (including actor Anthony Vitale) were employed to portray the on-screen welders; the welding seen in the teaser was real and involved genuine welding tools. Actual steel was used for the welding, and partial columns that were painted the color of the Enterprise were set up around the stage. Some of the teaser was also shot in Paramount's backlot. [1]
