He is best known for his outspoken candor and undiluted opinions of his fellow tribemates in confessionals, many of which landed him in controversy both during and after his time on the show. He is also known for winning an extra vote advantage at the Survivor Auction. He remained loyal to the dominant Escameca Alliance despite several incidents that called into question his status within that group, and was only eliminated after Carolyn Rivera nullified a majority vote against her with a Hidden Immunity Idol.
