| abstract | - Verdan Pyron was the High Admiral of the Byss Defense Fleet and one of the first people to ally himself politically and militarily with Prince Zachary Palpatine after his discovery despite the wariness of the Council of Moffs, Pyron was an excellent politician and naval commander with two young sons and a daughter and so was able to feel protective of the young royal, when the Imperial Remnant was reconstituted into the Second Galactic Empire by Emperor Zachary he was rewarded for his loyalty with being given the rank of Moff and the welcoming of the Pyron family among the Imperial Court where plays for power and intrigue were once again abundant. During the Yuuzhan Vong War he once again showed his military prowess when he countered the invasion of the Yuuzhan Vong and regained worlds such as Dantooine, Dubrillion and Destrillion, Graqi, Ord Canfre, Ord Biniir, Generis, Bandomeer, Dathomir and many more worlds of the Braxant Run before freeing worlds along the Hydian Way including: Taris, Wayland, Myrkr and eventually Obroa-skai from Yuuzhan Vong control. By taking the initiative with other Imperial Commanders, the divide Empire's territory joined together again and this was pointed out by Cal Omas prior to treaty that caused the founding of the Galactic Alliance, the Empire had successfully gained an almost complete circle of galactic territories and using the confusion of the Yuuzhan Vong had gained control of the Tingle Arm, Tion Hegemony, placing the Hutts and Hutt Space under their "protection" and through Pyron's acts the Empire had once again forged a patrolled Supply-line to coreward Imperial worlds such as Anaxes and Carida.
