The Lady Shopper boarded the Bettabuy bus in Coronation Street. The woman feared she had missed the bus, and in fact only caught it due to Alf Roberts blocking the bus' exit from the Street in protest of it being routed past the Corner Shop. As the woman climbed aboard, Alf was dismayed that his actions had cost him another potential customer.
