He developed unique tactics and outguessed his opponents several times during a battle. He constantly worked throughout his life and knew the capabilities of each ship, no matter how small or powerful, and more importantly, what it's crew could do with it and how. After several challenges and battles in his early career in the Republic Navy, he proved that although he maintained his rouge-atmosphere, he was likely to be promoted from Captain to Acting Commodore when his other commander fell in the heat of battle and Sean took control. Several times later he also won skirmishes and was involved in a couple of battles, earning recognition throughout the Admiral's League which was highly independent and oblivious to upcoming stars. With the government transforming into the new Empire, he got promoted to Admiral for been involved in the battle of the Star Risen and later, was offered Grand Admiral by the Emperor, a rank way too early for someone at his age. He accepted it however and marked his legacy on the universe, defecting from either-side but bringing glory and recognition to those who served under his command. To be his assistant, aide or acting admiral was to have a permanent mark that you had served under him. Although he aged well, it added to what seemed to be his vulnerability but time and time again, he surprised his aggressors and dictated the battles. He knew how to adapt and train forces on whatever side he was acting upon, leaving trails of his legacy with every movement. He also reached friendship with the Jedi Order and assisted them several times, exchanging favours and changing what happened in the galaxy. Although the politicians gave the orders, Sean did his own thing and acted separately from any major government for the majority of his career. He eventually died after been wounded and hearing that the battle was all but won by his own son.
