It can be used in non lethal manners as well, extending even to concepts, and though its only capable of destruction, it can never directly create anything. Example: If Kana wants to destroy the entrance to a cave, it simply touches the cave wall with the intention in mind. This will not only destroy the entrance, but replace it with the caves walls completely, making it as if the entrance never existed. Despite its ability, it can be used as a normal sword if Kana wills it. He is also able to use Sonzaishinai through his King's Arsenal technique. It's twin weapon is Umu.
