  • In 2153, the Xanthan floating bazaar was visited by Enterprise NX-01, in the hope of obtaining a formula for trellium-D. (ENT: "Rajiin") In the final draft script of "Rajiin", the "alien bazaar" was described as being part of a "floating city", which was referred to as "a city floating on the purple ocean. It's assembled from a vast hodge-podge of exotic barges, platforms and vessels, all linked together by cables, bridges and tunnels." This is what is actually shown in the image at the top of this page. In the "Rajiin" script, the bazaar itself was described as "A narrow alleyway, crowded on either side with small alien shops and kiosks. It's a chaotic scene as ALIEN MERCHANTS haggle with equally alien CUSTOMERS over goods ranging from exotic foods to bizarre weaponry and spare parts. The
