| abstract | - Henri Dubois is a character mentioned as being a crewmember of Red Dwarf in the Red Dwarf novel Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers. Dubois was a French navigation officer, and was the individual most responsible for the radiation leak which killed the crew. This was because Dubois had spilled coffee onto his console in the Drive Room, and so didn't take heed of some warning signs bleeping on the console because of the coffee spillage. (Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers) Dubois is not mentioned in the television series, where is it stated numerous times that the radiation leak was the sole responsibility of the grossly inept Third Technician Arnold Rimmer, who had inexplicably been sent to fix a faulty Drive Plate.
