The Fire Cloak Technique works a bit differently than it's sister technique (The Earth Cloak Technique), since it does not enhance the power of physical attacks to the same extent. By wrapping the user in Chakra, it strengthens the user, but it is mainly used to burn its foes on contact, or manipulate with Fire Style Ninjutsu. Satoru, the only known user, claims that the Fire Cloak focuses on speed, seconded by offensive power and -out of the three- worst at defensive power. While using this technique, the users Fire Style Ninjutsu is enhanced.
