- The 103rd Flight was a starfighter group that fought for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. The main distinction was that it was made up solely of organic pilots, not droids. During the war, it took part in a number if operations before being absorbed by a mercenary pilot unit in the Confederate Navy called Sabaoth Squadron. The two units were again separated in 20 BBY, and the pilots of the 103rd were designated as the 101st Flight. It produced some of the highest scoring ace pilots of the Confederacy during the war, though was disbanded after the Battle of Coruscant in 19 BBY. Many of the pilots were killed, and the survivors were reassigned to other units, most notably 137th Flight. One of it's surviving members and highest scoring aces, Dragomir Jovanović, went on to fight in the Galactic Civil War and several other conflicts. In 15 ABY, former Major Dragonir Jovanović established a small association for veterans of the unit, which drew in many of the former members. Some joined his mercenary pilot unit, the Saber Wing, and fought in several wars.
