| abstract | - Kobal 'Koba' Xallin was a male Human who briefly served as an officer in the Imperial Military and then became a Sith Lord. Very little is known of his early life as his military and personal records were removed and believed to be destroyed. The only information available was that detailed in his diaries seized by rebel forces. He was left an orphan at a young age, and grew up as a loner. Interested in the military might of the Empire, he was attracted to those in positions of power. Commissioned into the Imperial Marines, he went on to join the Emperor's Royal Guard, and also served in the Imperial Navy and the Imperial Special Forces. A loyal and talented soldier, Xallin fought with courage and distinction. A sworn and devoted enemy of the rebellion, he was decorated on numerous occasions for his impeccable service. Xallin's military service was cut short with the defeat of the Empire, and the creation of the New Republic. Following training in the dark side of the Force and the collapse of the Empire, Xallin became a powerful Sith Lord and ferocious Jedi hunter. Through his study of the dark side, Xallin is also known to have been a shadowy-figure in an ancient and secret Sith cult. This cult was later discovered to be known as the Dark Knights of Korriban.
