He nearly mirrored that in his other start on the year, finishing 18th at Hillsboro, His other race came in 1951, when Joslin started the year back at Hillsboro with a solid 12th place run. DNFs took him out of the race at Martinsville (28th) and Colombus (20th), but Joslin ended his career with a career-best 11th place showing at Columbia.
