| abstract | - Rev. Jim Wallis is the only significant evangelical preacher who will let Democrats talk to him. He wrote a book called God's Politics: Why the Right Gets it Wrong and the Left Doesn't Get It which doesn't actually have any text other than the long title. But the book was enough to get him onto a bunch of interview shows where he talked about stuff that has nothing to do with the real issues embraced by the Greatest President Ever. Wallis even gave the Democrats' radio address "response" to POTUS in December after the 2006 Elections. He claimed to be speaking as a Christian, but he said stuff that disagreed with George W. Bush, which means that he can't be loved by the Baby Jesus, no matter how many Bible verses he quotes.
