abstract
  • Professor George Fleming was the Stanford University professor who kicked Chuck out of the University for cheating on a test. In truth, Fleming was planning on recruiting Chuck for the Omaha project, but his roommate Bryce Larkin intercepted the call and told Fleming that the CIA would destroy Chuck. Therefore, because the meeting cannot be stopped, they came up with a plan to get Chuck expelled. In 2007, Fleming had to run from Magnus Einerson, an Icelandic assassin, who was looking for Fleming's files on all the CIA recruits at Stanford. He arrives in Los Angeles, where he was discovered by Chuck, who had been working with the government because of his acquisition of the Intersect. Relieved, Fleming tells Chuck a secret phrase, "Are you coming to the toga party?" in case of trouble. But before Fleming could tell Chuck why he was expelled, Einerson shoots him in the back with his crossbow. Before slipping into unconsciousness, Fleming gave Chuck a list of numbers and asks that he give to Bryce Larkin, knowing that that files are in his secret hiding place at Stanford. Unfortunately, Fleming was unaware that Bryce was seemingly killed for stealing the Intersect. Chuck later used Fleming's phrase to rally CIA recruits at Stanford to stop Einerson. Fleming is portrayed by Scott Alan Smith.

But Fleming's best showing came in 1957, when he moved to New Oxford. Starting 28th in the field of thirty-two, Fleming fell a number of laps down in the race but drove his way to a career-best 11th place finish regardless.
