Because of that their techniques are based on customs and skills of spiders, besides get climbing solid objects with ease, they show great strength and can create cobwebs. It has also been shown that they are able to communicate with any kind of spiders, not only shinobi spiders. Thus, some of the clan members are experts in tracking down enemies. Besides the rivalry that the Amigumo clan has with the Aburame clan, the clan's members have another reason to distrust in Konohagakure, since they claims that Orochimaru stole some of the clan's jutsu to inject them into people who served in his experiments.
