Battle Cruisers are the only ship in your fleet capable of traveling to any world, friendly or enemy, provided it has fuel enough for the journey. You purchase a Battle Cruiser from the Buy Screen, and it is then put into an empty Cargo Bay within your Starbase; should all three bays be full there, it is placed into orbit around Starbase. When in a bay you will need to prep the ship to be able to send it anywhere via the Navigation Screen. The Battle Cruiser is the only ship that can travel to any formatted world, whether you control the planet or not. Once prepped it's time to arm it using the War Buy Screen, where you can outfit it within the limits listed below, provided you have the credits. Once you have any weapons in the Battle Cruiser you can send it to an enemy planet within fuel range, which is around 16 worlds before refueling. A message will be displayed when it reaches the enemy world, stating its there and ready to attack. From the Main Screen, from the Government Screen, or even from the Navigation Screen you can initiate the invasion once you get that message; then you will go to the combat view and fight.
