The native Bariosians are a bipedal humanoid with a pronounced cranial ridge that divides their skull in two. The ridge varies in height, most ranging from a quarter inch to a full inch. Their skin is a light brown color and has almost no hair on it. Industry is a minor part of life on Barsios II. Most all of the economy is focused on farming and herding. Most of the land on the planet is fertile plains very conducive to farming and grazing. Significant amounts of foodstuffs are distributed from the main spaceport on Barsios II to the entire Ascendancy. The planet is on the far end of the Ascendancy from the Horothrium border, so it is mostly safe from harm.
