| abstract | - Kevin is seen running away from Alpha, Beta, and Gamma in the jungle of Paradise Falls. Later, Russell tracks her with pieces of chocolate. Carl prompts Kevin to get out of their house and Russell asks Ellie about keeping Kevin in the house. Carl refuses to let him keep her in the house. The next day, Charles Muntz says that it is his bird he is supposed to capture. When the group gets detected by Muntz, his dogs run after Kevin and one of them bites her leg. Kevin's leg is injured. Russell puts a bandage for healing. Kevin is supposed to stay as the injured bird hears her baby chicks from a distance. That night, the group is detected by Charles Muntz. Charles Muntz has captured the bird to be a great adventurer. Kevin is caged in the blimp, so Carl goes out to rescue him by distracting the dogs working for Muntz by throwing a ball from his cane. Kevin gets into the house to avoid the dogs and Carl asks him if she can have chocolate. Muntz tries to grab Kevin, but fell to his death. Kevin later has three baby chicks. Kevin and her babies later appears in the end credits as drawings.
