Their first battle was during the OPERATION:WARDOG. They where all wearing a Green Moljonir Armor, depending of the spartan role (scout, rogue, recon or simply the standart armor). Despit they were working with the 25th Marine Expeditionary Brigade and sometime considering part of the unit they were only under the command of the first battalion of spartan wich were the only unit that could give order to the Squad Athens. It primary role is to scout the era before the battle and guerrilla combat. The unit act has a first response unit during battle.
