| abstract | - The Holy Empire was founded in 2 ABY as a Seperatist state of the Galactic Empire. The Holy Empire separated from the Galactic Empire with a significant chunk of it's ever declining territory thanks to the rebellion. The empire was fragmented and it was led to it's restoration and expanded beyond it's former territory by the Emperor of Truth. When the empire restored and expanded, it became a major power in the galaxy. Under the leadership of the Emperor of Regret during the Dark Wars, the Empire was invaded ruthlessly, and at the Battle of Onyx (the empire's capital), the empire collapsed at the death of Regret.
