rdfs:comment
  • The Casimir Uprising was one of the final battles of the Insurrection and took place on the outer colony, Casimir in 2554. The size and scope of the rebellion was not as large as the media had predicted however the UNSC had taken heavy casualties on the first three days before Revolutionary forces began to crumble and rout. The uprising died down seven days after the arrival of the UNSC and peace resumed on the colony following the events. Damaged infrastructure was later rebuilt and economic aid was sent to the colony to cool down rebel dissent, however Covenant Remnant forces began raiding several human colonies and tracking UEG supply routes. Aid was cut off less than one month after the end of the uprising and anti-government rhetoric returned to the streets of Casimiran cities.
