- Thammaron was een Elder-Demon, en de enige bevestigde. Hij diende Zamorak tijdens de Second- en Third Age. Hij hielp Zamorak met het verslaan van Zaros. Door zijn loyale positie, werd hij aangewezen door Zamorak als zijn hoofd-luitenant en kreeg het bevel over een groot leger. Hij staat vooral bekend om zijn aanval op de woestijnstad Uzer, die hij compleet vernietigde. Uiteindelijk werd hij verjaagd door een groot leger Golems en werd verslagen door de Mahjarrat genaamd Azzanadra. Hoewel hij sinds de Third Age overleden is, speelt hij een belangrijke rol in de The Golem quest.
- Virtually nothing is known of Thammaron's activities prior to Zamorak's rebellion, although he was active in the Second Age. He is mentioned in the Twice Burnt lore, being sent on a mission for Zaros, along with Zamorak, Char and several others. It is detailed how he is able to change his size and retract or extend his horns upon resting or preparation for battle. It is unknown if other demons are able to do this, or if it is a trait exclusive to the Elder-Demons. He would eventually join the then-Mahjarrat Zamorak in an effort to gain power in his rebellion against his master, Zaros.

During the God Wars, Thammaron and his mighty army attacked Uzer and destroyed it, but not before being mortally wounded by the elite guard of clay golems in the process. After the battle, Thammaron retreated to his own plane, where he later died of his injuries. Afterwards, the remainder of his army was destroyed by the Zarosian mahjarrat Azzanadra.

Apparently hailing from the mysterious Infernal Dimensions, said to be the home plane of the Demon Lords, amongst Thammaron's countless servants was Alathazdrar, a famed demon butler that would later serve Delrith. Today he can be found in East Ardougne, where he will speak little of his time in Thammaron's household.

The only survivor of the battle was the ancient Clay Golem, which has been programmed to destroy Thammaron. During The Golem, you find his skeleton in the portal, and the golem is ranting on about his "mission". Thammaron was with Zamorak when it came to rebelling to Zaros, but Azzanadra destroyed Thammaron's mighty army.
