rdfs:comment | - Belus is a searing hot world with temperatures rising well over 500 c. However temperatures can drop to below -162 c on the side facing away from the sun. The planet's terrain is extremely rugged, pot-marked by craters which have chipped away large portions of the surface. It is hinted that a wreckages of unknown origin pre-dating the Forerunners are situated at the bottom of these craters though ONI has kept this highly classified.

abstract | - Belus is a searing hot world with temperatures rising well over 500 c. The planet's proximity to the star Tau Ceti, along with several other anomalies, are reeking havoc with the planet's magnetic field, causing unbelievable amounts of volcanic activity on the planet's surface, making it one of the most volcanically active planets in the known universe. The planet's atmosphere itself has long been ripped away by the star Tau Ceti and what is left is made up of Argon, Hydrogen and Oxygen, very similar to the planet Mercury in the Sol System.
