Finally, the Hydra itself has an aura of extremely powerful radiation, like the meteor from which it's chakra comes from. The radiation coming off of the Hydra is even more potent however, and is capable of killing ordinary people in a matter of minutes, or even less if they're exceptionally weak. Even if those near it aren't killed, their physical ability is hampered pretty severely. Simply walking through a forest with the Hydra would be enough to kill every tree, plant, and animal in a large radius.
