  • Trooper is a Raven appearing in Armored Core 3. His rank is C-7 in the Arena. In the Extra Arena he is partnered with Regina and they hold the title of the twelfth ranked team.
  • A Trooper is a Mars Mission astronaut minifigure who appears in 4850307 LEGO Battles. He carries a melee weapon.
  • A trooper is a military person whose job role is fighting. Contrast tech. In the Vorkosigan Saga, these have only been specifically indentified in the Dendarii Free Mercenary Fleet; however, the identification is difficult because it was sometimes used generically for anyone taking part in a combat mission, but other times it seemed to function as a specific semi-rank.
  • The Romulan rank of Trooper was the lowest rank in the Romulan Ground Forces. It was roughly equivalent to private and was held by most soldiers in the RGF. (The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon)
  • The trooper is a class of terran light infantry.
  • The unnamed trooper was a member of the overwatch Resistance cell that detected the TDE still active in the Skynet facility following Colonel Mary Randall's assault.
  • The Trooper is one of the four Galactic Republic-aligned playable classes. They start on the planet of Ord Mantell. Famous Troopers include Harron Tavus and Jace Malcom.
  • In general, Troopers resemble humanoid robots, with red armour, bucket-like helmets (resembling German Stahlhelme) and grey, skeletal faces. They are often emblazoned with Robotnik's face as a logo. While Troopers are supposedly mass-produced, they appear to be highly variable. It is not unheard of for large groups of Troopers to have no two robots look exactly alike. Differences may include the shape of the jaw (pointed and square teeth are both common), adornments, and the shape of the armor. Some Troopers even have armor that is not red, such as the white Troopers in General Trusk's personal guard.
  • The Trooper is the light infantry class of First Strike. Packing light weapons and gear, they are charged with sniping, reconnaissance, clearing Control Points, supporting heavier infantry, and spotting for long-range artillery. Troopers are outfitted to seek out and defeat other infantry, and between their primary anti-infantry weapon, all-purpose pistol, frag and smoke grenades and portable life-form sensors, they have tools for virtually any encounter with enemy foot soldiers.
  • Trooper is an achievement/trophy that is awarded for finishing Deus Ex: Human Revolution on any difficulty level.
  • Trooper is one of T-Bone's outfits in Watch Dogs: Bad Blood.
  • A Trooper is an aerial attack Mil bot, equipped with a jump-pack, glide wings, dual lasers and assault Bayonets. The Troopers dual lasers have a long range with an alternating firing pattern. Dealing damage in small area around where the plasma hits. It is possible to fire quicker than the alternating fire while controlling Troopers. A highly mobile 'shock-trooper' unit, the trooper can reach great heights and considerable speeds with its jump-pack to shoot from afar, or enter a gliding dive. Colour schemes of bright lightning bolts come in a few different varieties.
  • Species Location Weapon Abilities The trooper is an enemy in Jak 3. It is one of the main Dark Maker infantry units, resembling Precursor statues in concept but with dark purple, jagged, metallic armor. They were first seen at the KG war factory in the mission "Beat Cyber Errol boss", then seen near the Monk Temple in the mission "Rescue Seem at temple". They were also used in the attack on Spargus shortly before the mission "Defend Spargus from attack" and the assault on the Southern Haven Forest in the mission "Destroy dark ship shield".
  • True, a new Mistress now I chase,  The first Foe in the Field; And with a stronger Faith embrace  A Sword, a Horse, a Shield. — Richard Lovelace, To Lucasta: Going To The Wars In the Imperial Era, a new cavalryman has arrived on the scene for most factions: the medium cavalryman, also known as the Trooper. Troopers represent a balance between the heavy-hitting power of a knight and the cost and speed of a light cavalryman, and are meant as multipurpose cavalry. As such, their relatively cheap cost (they cost timber and food, which are fairly abundant) and their speed make them the ideal unit for cavalry rushing. Use them to swarm knights and other cavalry units, but be aware that they do not function well if deployed against gunpowder infantry and pikes.
  • Large and humanoid in shape, they vaguely resembled humans in armour. Normally, Troopers would carry a variety of guns and were a purple/red colour, with grey faces. A number of Troopers differed from this model, but all possessed a distinctive set of fangs on their lower jaw. As well as working for Robotnik, it was implied that these models were able to be licensed by other companies to use as security guards, but as it was the Marxio Brothers, at the time under Robotnik's employ, who declared this, it is up for some debate.
  • Troopers are Pfhor in vacuum suits suitable for activities in space or any other vacuum enviroment. Instead of the shock staff employed by the Fighters, Troopers carry a large grey gun that functions in a similar way to the assault rifle, as it fires a hail of machine gun-like bullets, and has an integrated grenade launcher.

abstract
  • Troopers are Pfhor in vacuum suits suitable for activities in space or any other vacuum enviroment. Instead of the shock staff employed by the Fighters, Troopers carry a large grey gun that functions in a similar way to the assault rifle, as it fires a hail of machine gun-like bullets, and has an integrated grenade launcher. Pfhor Troopers are one rank above the fighters. Like the fighters, the Troopers come in sub-ranks, but only two. There are only minor and major Troopers; the minors wear green armor and are much weaker than the major troopers, who wear purple armor, and are considerably more liberal with employing their grenade launchers.
The Trooper is also notable for its melee attacks. The third strongest enemy melee weapon in the game, the Bayonet can deal high damage, and when combined with the Trooper's special aerial dive ability can wipe out half of a player's health bar with ease. Troopers are highly vulnerable to the Rivet Gun and Scatter blasters and the fire of other Troopers. Scatter Blasters are also advisable against the fast-moving enemy, as the weapon spread can assist in hitting them and destroy them quickly.
An elite unit of modified Troopers, the Special Badnik Service, would be used in severe crises. The dreaded Commander Brutus rose from the SBS ranks to become second-in-command of Mobius. As Brutus tightened his grip on Mobius and his master, Robotnik's Troopers decided to side for Brutus in their entirity and were only too happy to follow his order to eradicate all organic lifeforms. When Robotnik was deposed, the Troopers ceased to be used. When he returned as a Drakon Empire proxy during The Battle For Mobius, however, both the original Troopers and a new model were used in his first attack.

As such, their relatively cheap cost (they cost timber and food, which are fairly abundant) and their speed make them the ideal unit for cavalry rushing. Use them to swarm knights and other cavalry units, but be aware that they do not function well if deployed against gunpowder infantry and pikes. Although knightly heavy cavalry would well dominate Europe for three hundred years after the First Crusade, the increasing use of firearms and massed infantry tactics spelt the beginning of the end of horse cavalry. Even so, there was still a pressing need for units which were speedy and could deliver shock force to weaken or annihilate an enemy. Medium cavalry fit this bill especially in the impoverished and chaotic conditions of Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries, and were expected to serve in different roles — from scouting and escort duty to delivering a devastating charge whenever needed. The Franco-Burgundian coustillier was one such experiment in the use of medium cavalry, as well as the Serbian Pronijari in the final centuries of the mediaeval kingdom of Serbia.
  • In general, Troopers resemble humanoid robots, with red armour, bucket-like helmets (resembling German Stahlhelme) and grey, skeletal faces.
