One variant of the impaling meteor can be achieved by having his channelled chakra unleash a massive boulder the size of a hill into the stratosphere, rigged to land in the area the user is battling in. As the meteor is brought down by gravity, it moves far faster than even Madara's meteor, literally squashing the battlefield in both lava (from the earth burning up during re-entry) and earth, though this technique would require some time to take effect.
