Later more chapters were opened at SUNY College of Technology at Delhi (1995), St. Francis College (1996), SUNY College at Oneonta (1997), SUNY College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill (1999), SUNY College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville (2002)Onondaga Commuunity College (2012) and are still expanding.

Sigma Omega Epsilon was formed to advance the personal well being of the members. The sorority life provides experience in self-government and encourages its sisters to develop masteries in cooperation, leadership and relations with other individuals. Sigma Omega Epsilon is simply defined as a society of diverse females (ethnic, parents, sexualities, careers, background, etc.) who work together to better the community and are bonded by sisterhood.
