Bramblestar said while sleeping. "And you didn't tell me about this, Haven't you." Then, Squirrelflight went outside of the den while the rain poured onto her fur. She ran as fast as she could until she saw something dark bluish gray. It was a small, shivering body. She was covered in mud and had a few burrs sticking to her fur.

"Aww, Where's your mother little fella?" Squirrelflight meowed to the kit. "My mother abandoned me and she....she was...g-gone." The she-kit was about to cry but the dark ginger she-cat comforted her and took her to the warrior den in ThunderClan. When she got back, Bramblestar was waking up till he saw Squirrelflight holding an orphaned kit. "Who's this, Squirrelflight?" Bramblestar asked while stretching. "This kit lost her mother and never saw her again. So, We need to adopt this kit and help her be a ThunderClan warrior." Bramblestar named the orphaned kit Hazelkit and was named after Hazeltail.
