He played college hockey for the Miami University RedHawks from 1990 to 1994, making the CCHA All-star team in 1993. Picked by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1992 NHL Supplemental Draft, he spent the three seasons (1995-1997) in the minor pros. In 1997 the New Jersey Devils signed him as a free agent and he got into his first NHL game in 1997-98. However he returned to the minors until 1999-2000 when he played one game for the Florida Panthers, with whom he had signed as a free agent. In 2001 he joined the Eisbären Berlin in Germany for two seasons. His last season was 2003-04 with the Adler Mannheim team.
