| abstract | - Iria Olurai was a Twi'lek bounty hunter during the reign of the Octil Empire. He was born on the planet Ryloth where his family was killed by gangsters. He vowed to kill those who ruined his life. He became a rogue to the galaxy and took jobs as a mercenary and bounty hunter. He eventually came across the crime lord Kaleem Besadii Diori, who took him in. He joined the pirate crew of a small vessel called the Pirate’s Eye and found himself under the command of its captain, Torma Kylen. Throughout the years of service to Kaleem and Torma, Iria never forgot his true meaning in life. He got to fulfill his vows in the underlevels of Coruscant where he caught sight of the gangsters who killed his family and shot all of them to death. After fulfilling his purpose in life, Iria Olurai still stayed with Torma's crew and soon started searching for rogue Jedi for the magnificent rewards. They ended up being just one crew out of the thousands who searched for the Jedi Padawans named Eldin Lanew and Kirth Tomon. Unlike others, they actually found and captured the fugitive Jedi. Kirth however, got Iria and the others to join the Jedi, but were son captured by other servants of Kaleem the Hutt. They broke free on Ta’meina but most of Torma’s crew was killed. Iria was the only of the crewmembers of the Pirate’s Eye to stay with the Jedi as they headed to Cerea, where they spent the next few weeks. They were soon found by the Sith of Octil and Kirth Tomon was injured. They had to go to the Jedi Order to save him since only they would by merciful enough to help at all. Eldin, Kirth and a Sith-turned-rogue named Sarien Gaeril were captured and imprisoned by the Jedi and Iria, along with another mercenary named Maira Jeret, were allowed to go. They soon returned however to rescue the Jedi and rogue Sith from prison and they headed to Felucia to start an alliance with the Free Sith, who were the only ones who could be trusted at that point. They formed and alliance, and for reasons that he didn’t completely understand, assaulted the Octil Empire’s homeworld, Dagobah. In the battle, Maira Jeret and Eldin Lanew were killed but the Octil Empire fell. After Eldin's funeral on Ossus, Iria went back to small-time jobs around the galaxy for a while. He eventually grew tired of the bounty hunter and pirate business and decided to settle down on Naboo and started a family, whom he spent the last of his life with.
