Carla Connor helped Roy see that he had to move on and that Cathy was the one for him. Going after her, he was furious that the bus was leaving the stop seven minutes early and as he yelled at it to stop, strangely enough, a tyre burst and it did so. The driver jokingly asked if any of the passengers were mechanics with a puncture repair kit and invited them to wait for assistance. All but Cathy got off to try another service. Roy joined her and the two came to an understanding with each other.
