As an actor, he had featured and supporting roles in the adventure The Last of the Mohicans (1992, with Maurice RoĆ«ves and Colm Meaney), the action thriller On Deadly Ground (1994, with Mike Starr, David Selburg, and Brian Simpson), the drama Forrest Gump (1994), the sport drama Higher Learning (1995, with Michael Buchman Silver, Kiante Elam, Rick Avery, and Tony Donno), the western Wild Bill (1995, with Merritt Yohnka, Christopher Doyle, Jim Wilkey, Anthony DeLongis, Bill Bolender, and Michael Papajohn), and the adventure Hidalgo (2004, with Jerry Hardin, Frank Collison, Michael Canavan, Jeff Kober, and Malcolm McDowell). Perry also appeared in episodes of Murder, She Wrote (1994, with Jerry Hardin and Ned Romero), Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, and CBS Schoolbreak Special (1995). For the 2002 sport drama The Slaughter Rule, he worked as technical advisor and performed stunts.
