He was living there in 19bby At that time, he witnessed the razing of the Jedi Temple by Darth Vader and his battalion of Clone Troopers from afar. He didn't especially care one way or the other because he wasn't a Jedi. He was just a guy trying to make his way in the middle levels of Coruscant. Through a series of events which haven't been revealed, he became a Jedi Master of the Bakuran Order within a mere 2 years. Shortly after that he journeyed to a planet named Kallibann along with many others after it experienced a massive disturbance in the Force. Most of Rive's adventures that have occurred so far are directly a result of what happened on Kallibann (a story with far too many details to discuss here). He's a fair hand with a blaster due to living most of his life without the Force and an able mechanic (he designed a droid and rebuilt an Imperial Shuttle). He takes delight in entertaining the young children at the Bakuran Jedi Temple with stories of his adventures (since most of them have never - and may never - leave Bakura). Later in life he became a bit eccentric and displayed an unusual aptitude for manipulating and combining Force powers. The reasons for this have yet to be revealed.
