| abstract | - Private Koopa is a Koopa Troopa appearing in Super Paper Mario. He is first seen with his Hammer Bro. Captain discovering Princess Peach unconscious in a room in Castle Bleck. He and his Captain warn Peach about their men being brainwashed by Count Bleck's assisant and not knowing the whereabouts of Bowser and Luigi. Private Koopa is ordered by his Captain to escort Peach to safety while he tries to convince his men to rejoin the Koopa Troop. Right as they exit the room, they witness the captain being brainwashed by Nastasia. While planning their escape, the two end up in a dead end outside of Count Bleck's Castle, only to be discovered by Nastasia and the brainwashed troops (including the Captain). Private Koopa claims he is well trained, tells the princess to stay back while he launches an attack. Just before he gets the chance, he is brainwashed into serving Count Bleck. His whereabouts are unknown but it is presumed his mind changed back after the ending of the game.
