| abstract | - Millard Wright is a former NASCAR driver from Montclair, NJ. He competed in three Sprint Cup Series events in his career. Wright debuted in 1955, when he competed at New Oxford. Starting 22nd in the field of thirty-one, Wright fell eighteen laps down in the race but managed to drive to a solid 12th place effort. Wright also earned a solid 18th place finish in his other race that year, with gasket issues hurting his chances at Rochester. Wright also ran well in his final event, competing at Palm Beach in 1956. Starting 15th in the field of thirty, Wright fell another of laps down but grabbed another top-twenty: a 16th place showing.
