Instead of a single large cannon, the Flak Cannon used two smaller caliber Cannons that happened to result in a much higher rate of fire. This RoF increase turned out for the better, as the turret lacks the AoE of its cousin. The design (that of a double barrel flak gun encased in a turret) is shared with the Bullfrog transport. The tower is notably stronger; however, this is traded for its complete lack of mobility. The obvious weakness of this design is its inability to shoot surface targets, unlike the Flak trooper. This is because its firing mechanism is automated, and that role being filled by the Sentry Gun.
