Although eventually defecting to Ieyasu's side, Hideaki is usually aided by the mysterious monk Tenkai, who is always seen with him. During his boss battle, the player will face him in a fortress that surrounds a gigantic nabe pot. In Sengoku BASARA 4, before he can be reached, the player must ascend a long and winding staircase down which vegetables of tremendous sizes are hurled and must be avoided or slashed with the player's weapon.
