  • On November 11, 2012, the micronation called the Principality of Midatlantia was formed, however it failed to meet success and its members were not actively involved in the country, leading to its defunct status. On the founding anniversary, the remaining citizens reformed the country as the Principality of Chitose. In the past year, the people of Chitose have forged a stronger national identity, and the country has become more organized. On December 14, 2013, construction began on the Firedrake Trail in the state of Renland, which connects the capital of Dunhill in the southern half of Renland to Lake Fiona. The colony of Folusia became part of Chitose on January 6th, 2014 following the peaceful annexation of the Republic of Almari, which was preparing to cede its territorial claims back to the United States and Mali. On May 5th, 2014, Chitose finally adopted a formal Constitution with approval from the Forum and was adopted after several revisions to divisive amendments, including the issue of taxation and the balance of power between the Prince and the Forum. On May 28th, Chitose annexed two new states and divided the state of Renland to form a new state named Ceravia, adding an additional .2 square miles to Chitose's existing land claims.
