| abstract | - An Idiot's Array was an alcoholic drink invented by the Sith Lord Tariun Sakaros. He named it after the hand in sabacc, on the principle that the drink included elements which should not logically go together usefully, but as a mixture made the perfect concoction. The Idiot's Array was:
* One measure of jiqui juice
* Two measures of Tarisian ale
* A pinch of Neutron Pixie spice
* A splash of Merenzane Gold Due to chemical reactions among the three liquids, and between them and the spice, the drink was prone to changing colors. It produced a euphoric feeling, heightening pleasure sensations and easing the drinker into a feeling of relaxed contentment—as long as it was drunk slowly. Consumed too quickly, it could cause intoxication in less than a minute, as well as blackouts and even memory loss if consumed in too great a quantity. Though Sakaros made no attempt to keep the drink's mixture a secret, the inclusion of Merenzane Gold made it very expensive, beyond the reach of most consumers. With the inclusion of Neutron Pixie, it was also technically illegal.
